1. Agreement
By visiting oasisradio.live, watching an Oasis Radio live, sending a request, uploading a track, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Oasis Radio is an independent online radio station at https://oasisradio.live. These terms apply to the website and to related live activity we operate, including broadcasts and community pages hosted on third-party platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, Discord, and YouTube.
2. Who we are
References to “Oasis Radio”, “we”, “us”, and “the station” mean the operators of oasisradio.live and the Oasis Radio live programmes. Contact: oasisradiolive@gmail.com.
Oasis Radio is not affiliated with any other station, label, or act that happens to use the word “Oasis”. The name, palm-and-sun mark, and “No Mirage, Just Pure Hits.” line are station branding.
3. Eligibility
The website is intended for a general audience. To send a music request or a challenge upload you must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian consents to your use of the submissions features.
You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms in your place of residence.
4. The service
Oasis Radio provides an informational website, show schedules, a quiz, contact forms, music-request tools, and a weekly original-music challenge. Live audio and video are currently broadcast on TikTok. Availability of any live, show, or feature is not guaranteed.
We may change, pause, or end any programme, challenge, or part of the website without notice. Third-party platforms can go down, geo-restrict content, or change their rules. That is outside our control.
5. Listener conduct
You agree not to use the service to harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate anyone, to spam the live or the forms, or to submit anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence.
During lives, platform rules (including TikTok Community Guidelines) apply in addition to these terms. We may block, mute, ignore, or report accounts. We may refuse any request or upload at our discretion, with or without a reason.
6. Music requests
A request is a suggestion, not a booking. We do not promise that any track will be played, named on air, or played at a particular time. Licensing, taste, timing, and the live all get a vote.
Do not request material you know is illegal to broadcast. Dedications should not include other people’s private information without their consent.
7. Creators Challenge Night and original uploads
Creators Challenge Night runs Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Each night is a Genre + Era brief. Entries must be original music you created, or music you have a written right to submit and to license as set out below. Cover versions, beats you do not own, uncleared samples, and ripped radio rips are not accepted.
Technical limits currently include a 20MB file cap and common audio types (mp3, wav, flac, aac, ogg, m4a). We may change limits. Uploads that fail validation are not received.
There is no entry fee. There is no guaranteed play, playlist add, contract, or payment. Being featured is editorial, not a prize with cash value unless we say so in writing for a specific week.
- You must be 16 or over to enter.
- One or more entries per week may be submitted; we may cap this later.
- We may disqualify entries that break these terms, miss the brief, or fail to play.
- Audience judging and the winner choosing the next theme are editorial. We may settle ties, void a night, or set the next theme ourselves if needed.
8. Licence you grant us
You keep the copyright in your original track. You grant Oasis Radio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to download, store, review, edit for time (radio edits, fades, talk-over beds), publicly perform, stream, clip, and otherwise use your submission in connection with Oasis Radio programmes, promotional clips, and the website, in any media, for the full period of copyright.
This licence includes the right to use your artist name, track title, likeness if you provide it, and the story you include in the notes, in on-air talk and in station social posts about the show or challenge.
If you want a track taken down from future use, email oasisradiolive@gmail.com with the track title and the email you used to submit. We will stop new uses where reasonably practical. We cannot unwind a live that already happened or third-party copies we do not control.
9. Your warranties
For every upload and, where relevant, every request, you warrant that:
- You are the rights holder, or you have all licences needed for us to use the material as described.
- The material does not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights.
- The material does not contain uncleared samples, third-party vocals, or beats you are not licensed to use in this way.
- The information you give (name, email, artist name) is accurate and not impersonating someone else.
- Nothing in the track or notes is unlawful.
10. Moderation and no obligation
We may listen, skip, store, delete, or feature any submission. We do not undertake to reply to every entry. Silence is not acceptance, rejection, or a licence back to you beyond what you already have.
If we believe a submission is infringing or unsafe, we may remove it and, where appropriate, report it.
11. Station intellectual property
The Oasis Radio name, logos (including the palm, sun, and three-dimensional OASIS wordmark), taglines, show names, website design, and original station audio remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy the marks for a competing station, merchandise, or misleading promotion without written permission.
You may share links to the website and to our public lives. You may not scrape the site, republish our show archive if we later add one, or imply we endorse you unless we have.
12. Third-party platforms
Lives on TikTok (and any later platform) and community pages on Facebook, Instagram, X, Discord, and YouTube are also governed by that platform’s terms, community rules, and privacy policy. We do not operate those platforms. If a platform removes a live, limits reach, or bans an account, that is a platform decision.
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
13. Privacy
We collect what you choose to send: name, email, request details, track metadata, messages, and (for challenge entries) the audio file you attach. Use is limited to running the station, considering submissions, contacting you about your entry, and meeting legal duties.
In this version of the website, requests, challenge entries, quiz scores, and contact messages are stored in your browser on this device so you can see what you sent. They are not a public leaderboard. Do not submit special-category personal data or anyone else’s private information.
If we later add a studio inbox or server storage, we will still only use the data for station operations. We do not sell your email list. We may share data if required by law, or with service providers who host or process it under contract.
To ask for a copy or deletion of anything you sent that we hold on a server, email oasisradiolive@gmail.com. Browser storage can be cleared by you in your own settings.
15. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted lives, error-free forms, that a particular song will play, or that a challenge will further your career. Radio is opinionated. Taste is not a warranty.
Nothing on the site is legal, financial, or professional advice.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oasis Radio and its hosts, operators, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of the service or from a submission being played, not played, edited, or discussed on air.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to £50, except where liability cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
17. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless Oasis Radio and its hosts from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your submissions, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else’s rights.
18. Suspension
We may refuse access to forms, ignore future submissions, or block participation in challenges if you break these terms or abuse the live. You may stop using the service at any time.
19. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new terms. For a material change to the licence in section 8, we will not apply the new licence wording to tracks already submitted unless you resubmit or we obtain your agreement.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in another country you may also bring proceedings in your home courts where the law says you can.
If a clause is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
